State Representative
Akbar Ali is a 21 year old proud son of Gwinnett County, a small business owner, KSU graduate, and now a State Representative for the GA State House District 106. He is the youngest Democrat State Assemblyman in the United States and the youngest in GA. From leading local campaigns and student marches to serving on the Citizens Transit Advisory Board, he has always centered on one belief: leadership is about those around you. He's running on a platform that puts neighborhoods first and can meet the crucial moment our democracy is in. Such as lowering costs for families, defending our constitutional rights, and protecting our public schools. Rep. Ali serves not for himself, but for the communities around him, the neighbors whose voices go unheard, and those who’ve been silenced.
