Deidre J. (Edwards)Crowley is a modern-day renaissance woman. This Jamaican native has continued to find ways to combine medicine and education to improve the quality of life for others. Teaching in underserved communities was the catalyst for her becoming a community volunteer and advocate. Whether it is volunteering at a battered women’s shelter, feeding the homeless or teaching the next generation of nursing students, she is involved. Deidre intentionally seeks opportunities to help others live their best lives with a purpose, changing generational traits, cultural differences when needed and respecting one’s norms and beliefs. Deidre works with Hebron Christian Academy ongoing to enhance learning in GA and entered the Reading Bowl just recently and won second and third place against all private schools who entered taking trophies and medals home. The medals were just the physical attributes, but the memories, confidence, readers, and respected young ladies and young men groomed as future leader were the trophies awarded on that day. Deidre is continually active as well in the cultural events, sporting events among other committees including participating in Christmas around the world showing diverse cultures to the school population and monthly meal programs preps for students overseas in Africa. Deidre serves as an ambassador for TIUA University alumni and helping others realize their potential for success is a passion for her. Deidre’s mantra for life is “After the battle, comes the reward”. She embodies this daily by overcoming any obstacles with a smile. With a solid foundation, and a smile to match, Deidre never allows fear of anything to stop her from reaching her goals. Never look for this two times Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient in the valley because on the mountain top is where she lives.
Deidre earned her Bachelors in Education from the University of the West in Jamaica, continued to earn her nursing credentials from ECPI University in Virginia, started with a semester left a second Bachelor in Healthcare Management degree in anPhD in Humanities acquired through TIUA University and a pending PhD in Psychology and Masters in Business. After graduation with a Business Coaching certification, Deidre, began working as a Director of Nursing overseeing healthcare buildings and team's functional operations 24/7 which fields her drive for the geriatric population holistic care.
Deidre channels her drive, talents, and ideas in becoming an Amazon Best selling author twice and continues to work on motivating young minds that if you can dream it, you can believe it, and it you believe it you will achieve it.
Deidre presently throughout all these endeavors also served as Girl Scout Leader, Circle K Secretary, sat on many leadership committees for tradings and quality improvement programs for corporate employees in America for major corporations such as Anthem, Sentara, Pruitt, Oaks, just to name a few. Deidre was also in her younger days apart of Kiwanis club. To summarize a recent milestone, Deidre now represents Ms NE Gwinnett county for Ms Cooperate America via Trinity International University alumni.
