Dr. Rodney D. Jordan leads South Gwinnett High School—home to approximately 2,600 students—as part of Gwinnett County Public Schools, one of the nation's largest districts. Since joining SGHS in 2023, he has transformed the school’s culture in addition to the school earning recognition for its school turnaround efforts, as reflected in improved discipline metrics and multiple AP honors (AP STEM and Humanities distinctions), alongside new technology and career-focused initiatives like partnerships with Google and local hospitals and other community entities. With empathy, equity, and excellence guiding his leadership, Dr. Jordan continues to foster a positive and nurturing environment where students are both supported and inspired.
