🎙️ Podcast Guest Bio: Eric “Mario” Jones & Jalyne Evans-Jones
Eric Mario Jones, who prefers to be called Mario, is a proud military brat and native of New Orleans. He met his wife, Jalyne Evans-Jones, in November of 1991, and the two were married in 1994. Together, they’ve built a loving legacy over 31 years of marriage as proud parents of three adult children and grandparents to nine grandchildren - with a tenth grandchild due in November.
Both Mario and Jalyne are M.B.A. graduates of Belhaven University. Jalyne holds a dual concentration in Human Resources and Healthcare Management, while Mario focused his studies on Leadership.
Before a tragic act of gun violence upended their lives, Jalyne was thriving professionally as a Program Chairwoman and Instructor in AAPC Medical Billing and Coding. Mario currently serves as a public sector professional and community advocate.
Today, they are using their voices, experience, and unwavering faith to speak out, inspire, and demand justice; not just for themselves, but for all survivors of senseless violence.
