Mohamed Berte

Mohamed Berte is an ambitious student leader and entrepreneur with a passion for community impact and future aspirations in corporate law. A graduating senior at Shiloh High School, Mohamed has made a lasting mark through leadership roles in DECA as Vice President of Leadership and as a member of the Gwinnett Student Leadership Team.

As the founder of the Shiloh Student Athlete Association (SSAA), Mohamed has worked to shift the athletic culture at their Title I school by educating student-athletes on the importance of academics and career planning beyond sports. Through SSAA, they’ve led several community initiatives, including community clean up projects and donation projects aimed at supporting underserved communities.

A driven entrepreneur, Mohamed also runs a successful service business offering power washing, car detailing, and more, balancing this with involvement in student activities and volunteerism. He’s organized major school events, like class basketball games and senior Six Flags trips, further demonstrating strong organizational and leadership skills.

This fall, Mohamed will attend college at illustrious Ivy League School, the University of Pennsylvania to pursue a degree in political science with a focus on finance, setting the foundation for a future career as a corporate lawyer. His biggest goal is to redefine ethical lines for employees of all backgrounds. Grounded in purpose and fueled by a desire to create change, he’s determined to bring their vision to life in both the boardroom and the community.
