LaQuana "LA Pink" Alexander is the First Lady and President of Street Groomers, and the CEO of The Community Boutique. LA Pink founded The Community Boutique, a 501(c)(3) organization, providing high-quality clothing, food distribution, mental health services, education, mentorship, personal grooming, and housing assistance for families.
Honored with proclamations from the City of South Fulton and the City of Atlanta, Georgia, LA Pink has made a significant impact in reclaiming and revitalizing communities. Her efforts demonstrate that love and dedication can transform cities, increasing opportunities and improving lives in major urban areas.
As a leader, advocate, and mentor in Atlanta, Georgia, LA Pink began her humanitarian journey by facilitating Unity In Our Communities throughout Atlanta. She has garnered support from 15 organizations, including Fountain of Hope and Street Groomers. She has been instrumental in restoring essential services for community members, such as criminal justice casework and providing housing solutions for homeless families. Her commitment is driven by her personal experience with homelessness.
The Community Boutique continues to expand its services globally, aiding hurricane victims and supporting communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. In partnership with Frederick Douglass High School and the United States National Guard, LA Pink has helped serve 100,000 meals to families in need, alongside food distribution efforts with Fountain of Hope Food Bank, which serves 25,000 families monthly.
