John Harris

John Harris aka Baruti Muenda Meriamen is the Founder and Architect of Mastering Your Moments, LLC, a leadership and human development organization dedicated to helping individuals, families, organizations, and communities recognize the moments that shape their choices—and ultimately their lives.

With more than three decades of leadership experience spanning nonprofit executive leadership, public service, youth development, martial arts instruction, coaching, speaking, and organizational consulting, Baruti's work centers on one foundational belief:

Lasting transformation occurs when we address the conflicts influencing our choices.

That philosophy has grown into the Mastering Your Moments framework—a body of work designed to help people understand not only what they should do, but why they make the choices they do and how those choices shape their future.

He is the author of the growing Mastering Your Moments publishing series, including:

He is also completing the next volume in the series, Mastering the Tools of Attraction, while developing educational resources, leadership frameworks, consulting methodologies, and institutional programs that strengthen individuals from childhood through executive leadership.

Today, Baruti is leading the development of the Mastering Your Moments Institute, an initiative designed to equip schools, nonprofits, businesses, government agencies, and community organizations with practical frameworks for leadership development, conflict resolution, organizational culture, and human transformation.
